The Awakening

For twenty-two years Robert Weinger ran a food and beverage company in Northern California. He lived at the base of Mt. Diablo, built a career, raised a family.

Then something shifted.

A calling he could not explain pulled him from the boardroom to the biblical lands. Not gradually. Not politely. The way a shofar blast interrupts silence, his entire life changed direction.

In 2008, he founded Shofar So Great with a single mission: to release A-Tone-Meant, the redemptive sounds for peace and unity in Jerusalem to the ends of the earth.

The Mission

For eighteen years Robert has traveled the globe, training others in the biblical significance of the shofar and its commands. His contributions to the restoration of Israel include:

The Double Portion

Robert has been blessed with a "double portion" gifting to sound two Shofarot in harmony simultaneously.

This is not a technique. It is a gift received.

Matching Shofarot are available in pairs upon request, along with personal training to call forth the "Kol HaNefesh," or voice of the soul.

The Former Chief Rabbi, State of Israel recognized Robert as "Champion of Shofar ... the greatest Shofar sounder in the world."

In 2015, Robert immigrated to Israel and obtained dual citizenship. He now resides in the biblical Gilgal, in the Plains of Jericho, where he sounds the shofar and welcomes visitors to the "Sho-room" and Visitor Center at Beit Hogla Farm.
